Restoration throughout Merced County
Our city guides cover Atwater, Dos Palos, Gustine, Livingston, Los Banos, and Merced, with nearby communities included under each area. Select the city closest to your property and then the service you need.
CFPR is based in Merced and works with residential and commercial properties. When you call, provide the street address, damage type, and any restrictions on entering the building.
Cleanup that fits the property
Water extraction and drying, smoke and soot cleanup, mold remediation, and biohazard cleanup call for different methods. An evaluation helps determine which materials can be cleaned or dried and which need removal.
We explain the recommended work so you can plan access, understand what will remain after cleanup, and coordinate repairs. If the original leak or other source has not been corrected, include that in the conversation.

Frequently asked questions
What should I do before cleanup begins?
Keep people away from the affected area. If there is an active fire, injury, or immediate danger, call 911. Once you can safely make arrangements, tell us what happened, whether the source has stopped, and which rooms are affected. Do not disturb soot, suspected mold, sewage, or other contaminated materials to prepare for a visit.
Can you give me a price over the phone?
The address and a description help us understand the request, but the cleanup scope depends on the materials, extent of damage, and access. An evaluation is needed to explain the recommended work and pricing. Let us know if photos are already available; there is no need to enter an unsafe area to take them.
Can we stay in the property during restoration?
That depends on the damage, access restrictions, contamination, and which rooms need work. Drying equipment and containment can also affect how a space is used. Discuss occupancy during the evaluation, and follow any restrictions from emergency responders or the responsible authorities.
Should I call a plumber or a restoration company first?
If a plumbing failure is still releasing water, the source needs attention. Restoration addresses the water and damaged materials left behind. You can contact CFPR while arranging the source repair so we can discuss the cleanup; the two jobs may need to be coordinated.
